When can I expect to start seeing results from using Doggy Daily?
Typically, 3 weeks. Many users at their 2–3-week check-up with our Chief Vet report an improvement in skin and coat and their pet is less itchy. For gut improvement results are likely to be quicker and any runny motions appear to settle in 3-7 days.

Will my dog like Doggy Daily? What can I do if they don’t?
It’s delish, most dogs will lick the bowl clean of any Doggy Daily crumbs! If your dog isn’t so sure then make sure the supplement is well mixed with the food. If you are feeding with dry food a dash of olive oil can help bind the supplement to the biscuits/kibble, like this: https://www.oliveskitchen.co.nz/pages/how-to-feed-the-supplement. We rarely find a dog that doesn’t like the taste!
Will Doggy Daily interfere with the medication my dog is currently taking?
No – Doggy Daily is completely natural and safe for your dog to take. Please note that Sedapet does include St Johns Wort which has been shown to interact with some medicines. If you’re unsure we encourage you to discuss with your vet.
How do I switch my dog to a raw diet?
Start the introduction of raw food slowly to avoid any upset to their gut. Slowly change the ratio of old food to new food and remember to add your Doggy Daily.
Does Doggy Daily expire?
Each pack of Doggy Daily has a shelf life of between one to two years. Expiry date is stamped on the back of each pouch and will be reflective of date of manufacture.
Is Doggy Daily OK for every dog, what about puppies?
Yes, any dog breed and size can take Doggy Daily, the amount you use is calculated by weight and outlined on the back of every packet. You can start giving Doggy Daily to puppies as young as 12 weeks old, as long as they’re comfortably eating solid foods.

Where did the Hemp Seed Oil go?
Although this has been very popular and is a product we love, we’ve decided to discontinue stocking it at this stage. We’ve had a discussion with the NZ Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI) and have come to the conclusion that right now we are not able to sell Hemp Seed Oil for dogs. MPI require a zero-rated amount of THC to be present and while ours was totally non-detectable (and therefore safe) we cannot yet meet this guideline. So what now? We’ve done research and consulted with a vet and would recommend MCT Oil as a great alternative for your dog(s). You can learn more about MCT Oil here: https://www.oliveskitchen.co.nz/collections/vet-love-naturally/products/mct-oil
If I give my dog Bliss Balls do they still need to have Doggy Daily?
Yes. All our treats (link to treats https://www.oliveskitchen.co.nz/collections/doggy-daily-collections) include some Doggy Daily but not quite enough to cover your daily dose and because consistency is key we recommend continuing to feed your dog the supplement every day.
Do you make a supplement for cats too?
We do! Moggy Daily has recently had a re-vamp to improve taste and health benefits. Great to add to the diet of your cat to help their gut health, their kidneys and their skin and coat. You can get Moggy Daily here: https://www.oliveskitchen.co.nz/products/moggy-daily-supplement-sprinkle?variant=31118577926246
What can Doggy Daily help with?

Should dogs take Vitamin B supplements when on antibiotics?
A dog can benefit from taking vitamin B complex supplements when on antibiotics. Antibiotics can reduce the amount of B-vitamins that the dog absorbs, so taking an extra dose will help make up for this. Additionally, supplements can help to reduce diarrhoea caused by antibiotics. However, it is always best to speak with your veterinarian before supplementing your dog with additional vitamins.
What are some of the common symptoms of Vitamin B deficiency?
Vitamin B strengthens a dog’s immune system. Many health problems can arise when a dog’s immune system fails or struggles, including:
• Allergies • Anxious • Behaviour problems • Constipation • Diarrhoea • Excessive Shedding • Hair loss • Lethargic • Poor dental hygiene • Stress • Unhealthy coat • Weight gain
If your dog is suffering from any of these issues using Pro-B alongside Doggy Daily and a balanced diet is a good place to start. If symptoms persist please always speak with your holistic veterinarian.

What size is the Olive's Kitchen scoop?
2 Teaspoons
Why does Doggy Daily not contain Pepper?
We have chosen not to add black pepper to Doggy Daily in that turmeric still has benefits without this additive.
However, should you want to add this to your supplement, some indicators would suggest curcumin
absorption is improved.
Olive's Kitchen is however, cautious with black pepper given the possibility of gastrointestinal upsets and advice from our vet to leave pepper out of the Doggy Daily supplement.
For Dog Supplements:
Adding black pepper to a turmeric-based dog supplement may theoretically improve curcumin absorption in dogs as well. However, there are a few key considerations:
Safety: Black pepper is generally safe for dogs in small quantities, but too much can cause gastrointestinal upset.
Dosing: Ensure the amount of black pepper used is minimal—just enough to enhance absorption without causing discomfort or irritation to the dog’s digestive system.
Alternative Activation Methods: Curcumin is also fat-soluble, meaning combining turmeric with a healthy fat (like coconut oil or fish oil) can improve absorption. This might be a gentler approach for dogs, especially if there's concern about black pepper's impact.
Consult a Veterinarian: Always confirm the formula with a veterinarian, particularly if the supplement will be sold commercially or used regularly for pets with specific health needs.
